How this foody girl turned her interest into Serious business

Diaz club is the brainchild of foodie and techie expert Sonal Pande. After her graduation in Computer science, she worked with top MNCs. The interest, work experience and zeal to achieve the goal helped them to exploit the opportunity. Food being their interest they were always wanted to experiment something new in the city but a lack of information made them brainstorm the concept Dibz club.


Dibz Club:

Dibz is an app-based real-time dynamic platform for excess inventory/capacity liquidation. We have started with the F&B segment and our geographical focus is to establish the presence in all Tier 2 and 3 Indian cities. We partner with the best brands/outlets across every city and offer deals that are lucrative for the buyers, yet sensible for the business. Dibz App offers deals at the most coveted restaurants and hotels which otherwise remain distant from discounting. We make it possible through investigation of each partner’s business dynamics, thus enabling strategic proffering.

o   Founder – Sonal Pande – A computer engineer by education and then an intellectual property professional, I spent over 10 years enjoying an early access to some of the most spectacular innovations of this era! I enjoyed my early years in the patent world, working on litigations, competitive landscape, white-space analyses, M&A and due diligence assignments for global tech bigwigs.


Core Team –

  • Udit Verma – 5 years of Technology Consulting experience & MBA in Marketing & Leadership. Udit heads Marketing at Dibz.
  • Raunak Pandey, a computer engineering graduate, takes care of the technology and new market development at Dibz.



Market penetration and future plans 


Dibz is currently present in 5 cities – Gurgaon, Delhi, Varanasi, Allahabad & Lucknow. We have over 10,000 active Users. Our target is to reach 50,000 customers by the end of March 2017 and be present in at least 30 TIER 2 & 3 cities across India by the end of 2017.


Your advice to fellow women entrepreneur 

  • Remain frugal, remain agile
  • Keep your CAC low
  • Choose your customers – yes, you can
  • Tailor your communication for different audience, stakeholders and mediums
  • Bootstrap – as long as you can.
