AI focused Pi ventures raise funds from IFC

Pi Venture, AI focused fund recently raised fund from IFC worth $3 million.
During March, 2017 Pi venture secured $13 million from Venture capital fund Accel Partners. At time International Finance Corporation (IFC) promised to invest $3 million.
The fund will be used to invest on IoT, AI and machine learning based startups in across the sectors.
IFC will be making the investments through the ‘IFC Startup Catalyst programme.’ Through the programme, IFC aims to invest in sustainable seed-stage funding mechanisms, including accelerators and seed funds, for supporting early-stage entrepreneurship globally.
